There is a new movement in design for seating, sitting, eating, sleeping and just being. It’s simply called “Maker” and it represents the flowering of an under-forty vision of woodworking and design. Not shy about computer enhanced technique, they are creating a bold reimagining of the work/living/entertaining space. University-trained, shop-practiced, these makers are creating a unique paradigm for an ages-old industry. Works Progress is part of this current.
